You, Me and AD/HD
For couples

The impact of AD/HD on a marriage can be profound. Behaviors with the greatest impact on relationships are: inattention, impulsivity and being easily distracted. Proper diagnosis and treatment offers hope and help to AD/HD marriages. Partners learn to separate the disorder from the person and together develop strategies to manage AD/HD.

What Does Everybody Else Know that I Don't?
Social Skill Help

Sometimes the most troubling impact of AD/HD isn't the inability to get things done. Often the most troubling aspect is the social isolation that arises as a result of inattention, hyperactivity, or disorganization. Participants will learn strategies for improving social skills as well as learn strategies to help remember to use those skills.

GROUP THERAPY: Focus Succeeding with Adult AD/HD

Often adults with AD/HD feel alone, stuck or ashamed of difficulties they are experiencing. Other people don't seem to understand and often don't provide the needed information or support. This group is designed to help adults with AD/HD develop strategies, structures and supports to manage AD/HD at home, at work and in relationships. Most important, the group is designed to provide hope and inspiration to identify individual strengths and confidence to move forward for folks who don't always color in the lines.

Now isn't that worth a few nights of your time???

or Thursdays, beginning January 11, 2007 6:00-7:15 pm EST
